This condition, known as flat feet, usually does not have an effect on daily life though in some cases can cause some painful and irritating symptoms which may require help from your podiatrist to treat.

The easiest way to tell if you have flat feet is a test you can perform right at home. Wet your bare feet and step onto a surface which will show a contrast when wet. If you examine your footprint and see the entire perimeter of your foot, you have a flat foot. If you can see the indention of the foot’s arch, you do not have flat feet.
